Terms of use and privacy policy

In short: Danny is an AI personal assistant. This page explains what it does, what information it uses, who helps it run, and what control you have.

1. Who we are and what this document is

Danny is a service of asMade: an AI-based personal assistant that helps manage reminders, tasks, calendar, lists, notes, habits, expenses and family through the website, WhatsApp and Telegram. This document contains the terms of use and the privacy policy of the service. Using the service, including signing up or sending Danny a message on WhatsApp or Telegram, means you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

The service is operated in Israel and governed by Israeli law. asMade operates it from Israel for users in Israel, and it is governed by Israeli law, including the Privacy Protection Law, 5741-1981 and its regulations, with the courts of Israel having jurisdiction. The app may be available for download in other countries, but that does not make any other law apply to the service. Anyone who uses the service outside Israel does so on their own initiative and is responsible for making sure that this is lawful where they are. Information is also processed by providers outside Israel, as listed in the chapter on providers that process information.

Questions, requests and privacy matters: info@asmade.co.il.

2. Danny is artificial intelligence

Danny is not a person. It is an AI system that understands free language and acts on your behalf (creating, editing and deleting items, sending reminders, and more). Like any such system it can make mistakes, misunderstand or word things inaccurately.

3. Who may use it

4. What information is collected and kept

5. Why the information is used

6. Providers that process information

To run the service we use external providers, some outside Israel (mainly in the United States and Europe). We pass them only what the service needs. Using the service means you agree to this transfer.

7. Google connection (calendar and tasks)

If you connect a Google account, Danny asks for access to your calendar (calendar.events) and/or Google Tasks (tasks), and only for what you choose. Danny does not read Gmail.

8. Outlook connection (calendar and mail)

9. WhatsApp and Telegram

10. The asMade Danny Android app

The app is a shell around the Danny website: everything shown in it is the service itself, and this document applies to it in full. It collects no information beyond what is described here.

11. Family, contacts and messages to other people

When you add a family member or contact you give us details of another person (name, e-mail, phone, birthday). You confirm you have their consent or the right to do so.

12. Plans, payment and cancellation

13. Acceptable use

14. Rights and intellectual property

15. Liability

The service is provided "AS IS" and is under continuous development. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, accuracy of answers, or that an action will be carried out correctly. To the fullest extent the law allows, asMade is not liable for indirect or consequential damage, loss of profit or data, or damage caused by relying on an answer or reminder of an AI system, failures of third-party providers (WhatsApp, Telegram, Google, Microsoft, OpenAI and others) or force majeure. Total liability, if imposed, will not exceed the amount you paid in the year before the event. Nothing here limits rights that cannot be waived by law.

16. Retention, deletion and security

17. Your rights

Under the Israeli Privacy Protection Law, 1981, you have the right to review the information kept about you, to ask for it to be corrected and to ask for it to be deleted. Most actions are available to you in the settings, and for any other request you can contact us. You are not legally required to provide the information, but the service cannot run without it.

18. Changes, governing law and jurisdiction

We may update this document; a material update will be published on the website or sent to you. Continued use after an update means you accept it. This document and the service are governed by Israeli law, and the competent courts in Israel have exclusive jurisdiction.
